Mad Hatter's Tea

Hosted by the Wake Forest Garden Club

You don’t have to take a trip down the rabbit hole to enjoy a Wonderland adventure!

Enjoy the company of good friends with fine teas, finger sandwiches, and sweets.  The Mad Hatter’s Tea will include a traditionally plated tea at a well-appointed table surrounded by the ambiance of Alice’s Wonderland.  The combination of fine silver, lovely old fashioned English dishes, and a mystical theme is sure to delight - you may even encounter the Mad Hatter himself!

The Tea is open from 11:00am-2:00pm with open seating.

Your day of Alice In Wonderland adventures continues.  Stroll through the Museum gardens, enjoy the art, and perhaps find a touch of wonderland to take home.  Experience the rich history of Wake Forest by taking a tour of historic North Main Street.  A Classic Car Show on the museum lawn will feature classic cars owned by local car aficionados who are always ready to talk about their treasures.  Locally grown plants will be available for purchase with expert advice on how and where to plant and care for them for maximum success.  There will also be local artists showing their wares, which are available for purchase.   These additional activities are complementary and open to the public so please come, enjoy and explore them between 11:00am and 3:00pm.

Tickets are also available for purchase at one of three local businesses in downtown Wake Forest. Visit Southern Suds or The Cotton Company on S. White Street or our local bookstore Page 158 Books in the Renaissance Center shopping center for in-person ticket purchases.

Tickets can also be purchased on the day of the event at the Wake Forest Garden Club tent on the museum grounds for $25.00, as long as they are available.
