Wake Forest Garden Club
... since 1924

ABOUT US

The Wake Forest Garden Club, established in 1924, is our town’s longest continuing community service organization. It is a non-political group dedicated to preserving and enhancing the beauty and appearance of the town of Wake Forest. Membership is open to anyone who is interested in working toward the stated goals regardless of age, race, or gender. Anyone with an interest in flowers and gardening, regardless of skill level, is welcome.

If you are interested in joining the Wake Forest Garden Club, please attend a regular monthly meeting, complete an application, and pay the annual membership fee of $15.00. After you join, you’ll receive a garden club membership directory. During the September to May garden club year members are expected to serve on a hospitality committee and to help where possible with fundraising and club projects.

The Wake Forest Garden Club meets at 9:30 am on the second Tuesday of the month, from September through May, at the Wake Forest Community House. The Community House is located at 133 West Owen Avenue in Wake Forest. Our meetings begin with refreshments. A gardening-related program begins at 10:00 am, followed by our business meeting. Guests are always welcome. We may occasionally change our meeting location, so please check our Calendar for current information.
